Delicious simple soup in a few simple steps
First, take a crockpot. Make sure it’s clean.

Then wash the boneless chicken breasts (cut into halves) and place it into the crockpot.
Add skinned, raw peanuts.
Take one green and one white radish.
Peel the radish, cut into rounds and place this too into the crockpot.
Add a palmful of wolfberries.
Top it up with water and switch the crockpot on. Do nothing for 6 hours (alternatively, you could run the marathon during this lull time).

Serve with chinese lettuce and white pepper. You could also eat the soup as it.
The trick is not to stinge on the ingredients. If you do, you’ll need salt or msg to “boost” the flavour like many places do. As it turned out, this was really flavourful without an ounce of salt. All of S$6 (bought everything from Marine Terrace Wet Market).
