Any suggestions?
Over the years, I’ve minimized my interactions with this highly intrusive bank. I’ve stopped their credit cards after years but I can’t get their telemarketers off my back.

tell them you’re a telemarketer back and try to sell them double glazing for their windows.

hey Janice… you know the funny thing? and this is the true story. that is EXACTLY what I did this morning… well not double glazing but I started selling on-line graduate education.
but, how to stop them from calling me in the first place…. i already told them not to!

hi brother, u’ve asked the right person – that’s me. I work in a call centre. most of these telemarketeers are either direct employed by banks or outsourced to a call center.
first ask them where r they from (banks or call centre). then u can just tell them to take your name of the list. they have to comply as all calls are voice-recorded and quality checked.
alternatively, call the bank directly and ask for the manager in charge of that campaign – credit card section.

Thanks observer. I’ve already asked the bank to take my name off… but you know, they see to work as seperate companies. The credit card guys may take me off but the loan guys still call… one would have thought a company like Citibank could act on a simple instruction and inform all departments accordingly.
Oh, well… it’s only Citibank that stubbornly keeps calling.

thanks Nick… the counter script, I’ve got down pat, believe me… i need to stop them from calling me.
